A vibrant three-course menu that blends nostalgic Pacific flavours with contemporary technique. Highlight dishes include kingfish with buffalo curd, slow-braised lamb with spiced coconut gravy, and a chocolate and turmeric dessert.

A bold four-course experience. Start with our signature snacks like pani puri and goat cheese pao, followed by soft shell crab, tandoori chicken or green chilli cream mushrooms, and finish with a refreshing lychee sorbet with coconut and kaffir lime.

A two-course sharing-style Japanese menu featuring chef's sashimi, wagyu tsukune slider, cedar-baked salmon, lamb cutlets, and robata grilled seasonal vegetables.
The Grill

An indulgent four-course shared feast highlighting artisan starters including our twice baked cheese soufflé and beef tartare, then enjoy prime New Zealand beef cuts with our Study of Beef, a half roasted chicken and Whittaker's chocolate ganache with salted caramel for dessert.

A nostalgic take on winter comfort, reimagined. This season, we invited our head chefs to take a trip down memory lane, crafting a dish that brings back the warmth and comfort of their childhood. Each chef has reinterpreted a beloved dish from their past, infusing it with the unique flavours and culinary identity of the restaurant they helm. From family roasts to regional favourites, these limited-edition creations blend nostalgia with innovation, allowing guests to experience the personal stories and creativity of our chefs in a deeply immersive way.
Jack's Lamb Roast
Created by Head Chef Jack Stott
A no-frills homage to the Sunday roast. Slow-cooked lamb neck, creamed cavolo nero, celeriac purée, mint jelly, red wine jus and Yorkshire pudding to mop it all up. Good, hearty food cooked with a whole lot of heart.
Charcoal Grilled Octopus

A rich and smoky expression of comfort, featuring octopus glazed in house-made teriyaki, on a bed of creamy miso dashi potato mash, finished with kim-chimishuri.
Salted Kingfish

Roasted Lamb Noisette

Sesame Chicken

Megan's Meatloaf

MASU Counter Dining Experience
Every Thursday in June
A fiery celebration of Japanese Robata dining, every Thursday in June. 5.30pm or 8pm sessions. $138 per person. Bookings required.

The Grill Matariki Event

Chefs Patrick Ikinofo and Kia Kanuta are joining forces for a one-of-a-kind Matariki celebration at The Grill on 18 June. Prepare for an unforgettable evening of kōrero, entertainment, and a celestial inspired five-course menu, featuring an above-ground hāngī and dishes showcasing eel, tītī, and pāua.
