What will the rules be to enter the casino under Alert Level 2?
SkyCity Casino is open but in order to maintain a safe environment under Alert Level 2, it is only open to SkyCity Premier Rewards members. This ensures we have a central register of who is on site and when, so we can support the Ministry of Health with contact tracing, if required.
If you're not a member, you can sign up on the day (excluding between 7pm and 11pm Friday 5 and Saturday 6 June 2020) as long as you're carrying appropriate photo identification.
When visiting the Casino for the first time during Alert Level 2, you must register before entering the Casino. You will find registration desks located in the SkyCity Main Atrium or Theatre End Casino Entry. If you are a SkyCity Premier Rewards Platinum or Black member, you may register within your VIP Room. To register, you will require your Premier Rewards card and appropriate photo identification.
Is the entire casino open?
Yes, all gaming areas are now open and ready for your enjoyment, including:
- Main Casino Floor (closed 6am-10am Monday to Friday)
- Baccarat Room
