A Taste of Tahiti at Metita

This September, take a journey to the Islands of Tahiti, Moorea, Taha'a, and Raiatea through a vibrant, one-month-only dining experience at Metita. No passport required.
At the heart of the experience is our six course Tahitian Tasting Menu
A deeply personal exploration of island flavours, reimagined through Michael's lens. From the bold freshness of casse-croûte (sandwich) and poisson cru (raw fish salad) to puhi with pickled banana and garlic cream, and a colourful tuna and watermelon poke with salted curd and coconut vinegar.
You'll also discover ura (prawn) with pineapple and miti hue (a rich and savoury fermented coconut sauce), chicken and snails in a vanilla coconut broth with spiced uru (breadfruit), roast pork with sweet and sour tomatoes, and a nostalgic finish with po'e mautini, caramel and coconut sorbet. Each dish tells a story of place, heritage, and the spirit of discovery.
