SkyCity is inviting Aucklanders — and Auckland-lovers — to submit original designs for one of four letters in the AUCKLAND sign, located under the Sky Tower.
Four winning artists will see their designs professionally produced and displayed for three weeks. Each winner receives a $250 SkyCity Auckland e‑Gift Card.

The Designed by Auckland competition is open from Tuesday 28 April 2026 and entries close at 8.00am on Friday 8 May 2026. Open to all entrants; entrants under 18 must have parental or guardian consent to collect the prize. One prize per winning entry. AI-generated artwork and commercial logos are not permitted. Judges' decisions are final. Winning designs will be professionally produced and displayed at SkyCity Auckland under the Sky Tower from Friday 15 May until Monday 8 June 2026. Prize is a $250 SkyCity Auckland e-Gift Card valid for three years from date of issue, redeemable on accommodation, dining, or Sky Tower purchases. Prize does not include transport.
