Planning on visiting the casino to continue your New Year's Eve celebrations? You will need a SHOW by SkyCity card to play and/or gain priority access to enter the casino. It's free, quick and easy to sign up online or in person.

  • 6.30pm - 9.30pm Good Vibes, bringing energy and rhythm to the stage.
  • 10pm - 2am Two Many Chiefs keeping the party alive into the early hours!

Closures

Road Closures: From 22:00 – 01:00 Federal Street, Victoria Street and surrounding roads will be closed to vehicles.

Lift Closures: From 7:00pm – 12:15am all SkyCity lifts will only go as far as P1. Guests will be prompted by signs to get out of the lift at P1 walk up through to Plaza and follow directional signage to the main entrance. This will include the theatre end lifts. The same applies to exiting the building. There will be directional signage advising guests.

Car parking

The SkyCity Main Site Car Park in Auckland closes from 5pm on New Year's Eve to casual parking guests.

From 5pm 31 December 2025 until 1am 1 January 2026, only the following guests are allowed entry into the SkyCity carpark:

  • SHOW by SkyCity and Premier Rewards card holders Gold tier and above
  • SkyCity Hotel, The Grand by SkyCity and Horizon by SkyCity guests with booking confirmations
  • SkyCity restaurant guests with booking confirmations

Please be aware that the central city will be busy. Road closures will be in place from 10pm 31 December 2025 to 1 January 2026 on specific Auckland CBD roads. Plus, Federal Street will be closed from 7pm 31 December 2025 to 1am 1 January 2026.

Hotel and dining guests

Please have your booking confirmation ready to show the carpark attendants upon entry. If dining with a group, please ensure all members of your party know this detail and can share a booking confirmation for carpark entry.

Booking confirmations must be for 31 December 2025.

Carparking is subject to availability and usual parking rates apply and terms and conditions.
