PROJECTION SHOW SCHEDULE
🎉 OPENING WEEKEND SPECIAL
📍 Sky Tower, SkyCity Precinct
"As Wharenui Harikoa arrives in Tāmaki Makaurau, the Sky Tower is transformed into a radiant beacon — a long-held dream of artists Lissy and Rudi Robinson-Cole brought to life. Beaming into the night sky, the projection is a powerful expression of their kaupapa which is to shine the light of their tūpuna as brightly and boldly like a rainbow in the sky, illuminating the city with joy, hope, and aroha." - Lissy & Rudi.
Each image projected onto the Sky Tower offers a glimpse into the heart of Wharenui Harikoa, a crocheted whare woven from threads of colour, light, love, and joy. These visual expressions carry the essence of Matariki and embody the kaupapa of aroha, extending an open invitation to all who see them to come closer, to dream, and to feel.
Lissy and Rudi acknowledge SkyCity for helping bring this vision to life — a vision that celebrates whakapapa, creative freedom, and the healing power of light.
