Seated around the glowing embers of MASU's signature robata grill, you'll be guided through a five-course culinary journey by Nic Watt himself. From flame to plate, every dish is prepared in front of you with precision, storytelling, and technique, showcasing the very best of traditional Japanese robata.

What is Robata Dining?
Robata dining, derived from the Japanese word "robatayaki" (炉端焼き), refers to a traditional Japanese style of grilling that is typically done over an open flame or hot coals. This style of cooking uses the premium charcoal, binchotan, prized for burning hotter than any other charcoal while not producing smoke.
The setup for robata involves multiple layers of steel racks or grills, with food placed over the coals and a team of chefs basting the morsels to carefully regulate the temperature until each is cooked to perfection.
