The Obi Room

If you would like to celebrate a special event or host an intimate corporate function, our semi-private dining room can accommodate up to 18 guests. Dine at the 5.5m solid wood table crafted from two pieces of suar hardwood and enjoy earthen walls decorated with spectacular vintage Japanese obi kimono prints. The Obi Room is framed by bubble glass which creates the impression of privacy and seclusion without being completely separated from the main dining room.

The Chefs Kotatsu Table

Also cut from a single piece of hardwood is the Chef’s Kotatsu Table capable of seating eight to ten in cosy company. The sharp squares of the slab contrast with the overall soft ambiance of the restaurant’s luxurious handmade Kozo wallpapers; backlit to create a warming golden hue. Framing the Chef’s Kotatsu Table is the restaurant’s single piece of art, a large Japanese Dragon created by calligraphy master artist Ushio Sekiguchi. The Chef’s Kotatsu Table is a semi-private, booth-style table located at the back of the restaurant in the main dining area.
