Yes, a credit card, contactless and online payment surcharge of 1.8% will apply. The surcharge helps us recover some of the merchant fee costs charged by banks and credit card companies. Payments using cash or debit cards (contactless is chargeable) are not affected. If you have any questions about the surcharge, please speak with the Duty Manager.
Due to the size and nature of the bar, bookings are recommended to ensure you have a table secured.
A minimum spend of $40 per person applies, including both food and beverages. A 1.8% surcharge applies to credit card, online, and contactless payments.
We ask that any cancellation be made no less than 24 hours prior. Cancellations after this period will incur a $40 per person cancellation fee.
No ticket is required to visit SkyBar. Simply check in at our reception at the base of the elevators. Note that access to the Observation Deck on Level 51 is not included and requires a separate ticket purchase. However, access to SkyBar is included with adult Sky Tower tickets, subject to availability.
SkyBar welcomes guests aged 18 and over only. Valid ID is required (photocopies and screenshots are not accepted). Infants and children are not permitted, including prams or carriers. Accepted ID: current passport, New Zealand driver licence, Hospitality NZ 18+ Card, or Kiwi Access Card.
A neat and tidy standard of dress is required at all times. SkyCity reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who is not appropriately dressed.
