We’ve reimagined the whole experience to make it even more magical! Now you’ll capture your special photo moment first, so there’s no waiting around wondering when it’ll happen. Then you get to wander through our freshly themed Christmas areas at your own pace, soaking up all the festive wonder. Plus, the photo pick-up is now closer to the exit, so collecting your memories is a breeze!

We’ve made it easier this year! Your photo pick-up will be in the Gift Shop, but it’s now located much nearer to the exit of the experience, so no trekking around. Easy peasy!

This experience is specially designed with younger children in mind (think toddlers through to early primary schoolers), but honestly, it’ll charm anyone who loves Christmas! There’s magic for all ages here.

Santa’s Magical Wonderland is in two enchanting areas of the Sky Tower, with lifts whisking you between locations. There’s no Sky Tower view included unless you upgrade and add Sky Tower admission to your booking. It’s a chance to see the city sparkle from above!

Please allow anywhere between 5-15 mins with Santa himself, perfect for a chat about Christmas wishes! Add extra time for magical photo opportunities in our Christmas-themed areas and collecting your treasures from the Gift Shop before you head off. Please arrive early to park and check in. We want to make sure you have plenty of time to soak up the festive cheer!

Bookable dates are selected days between 14 Nov 2026 until 24 Dec 2026. Santa’s calendar is filling up faster than the naughty/nice list, so snap up your spot early!

The first child and up to two adults is $35. Each additional child is $25. Each additional adult is $15. Sky Tower upgrade (for even more Christmas magic!) is a flat rate of $35 per adult and $15 per child.

Absolutely! Purchase the ‘one child and up to two adult’ ticket for $35. You’ll get your very own printed and digital photo, plus a festive bauble to treasure. We believe the Christmas spirit knows no age!

One session is the minimum booking. This ensures we can manage the experience flow and keep the magic flowing smoothly for everyone. Even if it’s just two adults wanting to visit Santa together, one session is needed to reserve your special time with him!

If your little one is the star of the show (i.e., the only child in the booking), then yes, a magical photo and bauble will be included for them. If your baby or infant is snuggled in a front pack and is an additional little one, no payment needed, though no photo or bauble included for them. Just keep your booking reference handy when you arrive!

No discounts available for this experience, but with one-of-a-kind photos with Santa and a festive bauble, you’re already getting pure Christmas magic!

Santa keeps a pretty tight schedule! SkyCity cannot guarantee that visitors will be allowed entry if they arrive after their allocated booking time. Please give yourself plenty of time. We’d hate for you to miss the Christmas magic!

Of course! The more the merrier to visit Santa! As long as each person is allocated for in the booking and the maximum capacity doesn’t exceed 6 guests (including infants and children), you’re all set for a festive family experience.

The maximum number of guests per booking is 6. That’s already a cosy Christmas gathering! We can’t accommodate larger groups due to our North Pole workshop space. However, you’re welcome to book adjacent time slots for your group. Remember, each room’s capacity must be strictly followed. Santa’s working hard to meet everyone!

Pop into SkyCity car park and head to the ‘Atrium end’ lifts to whisk yourself up to Andy’s Burgers & Bar ‘Level 2’. Look out for our elf footprints. They’ll guide you straight to the magic!

For prams or wheelchairs, use the ‘Atrium end’ lifts to reach Andy’s Burgers & Bar ‘Level 2’, then simply follow those festive elf footprints!

We kindly ask that prams, buggies and strollers are left in the car or at home where possible, as the North Pole spaces are a bit cosy! But don’t worry, we’ve created a special ‘pram parking’ area if you need it. Santa’s workshop has limited room, you see!

Yes! Please use the wheelchair access on level P3 of the SkyCity car park and proceed to level 2. Our team of helpful elves will make sure you have a magical time!

Unfortunately we can’t accommodate furry friends in Santa’s workshop. It’s not quite spacious enough for the whole family! However, assistance dogs are always welcome. Santa understands how important they are!

Yes! At the exit of the experience you can visit our Gift Shop to purchase additional or alternate prints, perfect for sharing the Christmas joy with the whole family!

For 60 days from your booking. That’s plenty of time to download and share your special Santa moment!

No. Santa can only be in one place at a time, and he’s reserved his North Pole workshop just for Santa’s Magical Wonderland! There are no other photo opportunities with Santa at SkyCity this year.

Yes! There’s a special upgrade offer when you book Santa’s Magical Wonderland to include Sky Tower admission at a discounted rate. The ultimate Christmas adventure! This upgrade is only available when booking the Santa’s Magical Wonderland. The wonderland can’t be added to a Sky Tower admission booking, but you can combine them this way!

When you check in for your Santa experience, you’ll get a festive wristband for the Sky Tower! These are valid for the same day as your Santa experience only. If there’s a queue for Sky Tower admission, you’ll get to zoom straight to the front. VIP Christmas treatment!
