Booking a hotel room should be easy. If you have booked a room with us through skycityauckland.co.nz, then find a better online qualifying lower rate within 24 hours of making your booking, we want to know about it. And, we’ll beat the qualifying lower offer by 10%.

SkyCity guarantees to provide the best publicly available online rate for hotel room reservations at SkyCity Hotel, The Grand by SkyCity or Horizon by SkyCity, subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Your room must have been booked through skycityauckland.co.nz.
  2. The qualifying lower rate must be a nightly room-only rate at the same hotel that is publicly available, does not require membership or subscription and is for the same room type (including view), same stay dates, same length of stay, same number of guests, same designation as either cancellable or non-cancellable, same advance purchase policies and the same terms and conditions applying to the room rate. The guarantee does not apply to packages or other service inclusions.
  3. In the event of a multi-night stay, each individual night will be compared and the guarantee will only apply to those night(s) where the qualifying rate is lower.
  4. The claim form must be completed in full and be submitted to SkyCity Hotels within 24 hours of booking and no less than 48 hours prior to the standard check-in time on your arrival date.
  5. This guarantee does not apply to the following:
    • Rates that are not publicly available, such as negotiated rates with corporations, membership rates, travel agencies, groups, associations or other rates that are specifically negotiated or apply only to a specified group or criteria.
    • Package rates that include travel arrangements, entertainment, food and beverage or other similar amenities.
    • Package or group add-on rates for extended stays.
    • Rates negotiated for stays of 14 nights or more.
    • Rates that are available on opaque or auction websites that do not disclose hotel name until the reservation is completed, for example Expedia, Trivago and Hotels.com.
    • Rates that are available on flash sales websites.
    • Third party discounts or rebates.
    • Rate differences solely attributable to fluctuations and/or differences in currency exchange rates are excluded from the guarantee.
  6. SkyCity Hotels has the sole right and discretion to determine the validity of any claim, including without limitation, determining that the competing rate is genuinely available and bookable, and that the claim meets all terms and conditions. In case of dispute, SkyCity Hotels' decision is final.
  7. SkyCity Hotels is not liable for any expenses that may arise from cancelling a reservation.
  8. SkyCity Hotels reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice.

Guarantee Claim Form

To make a claim, please submit the below form within 24 hours of your booking. The rate found must be for the same hotel, with the same check-in and check-out dates and the same room type and otherwise meet the criteria of the guarantee as specified in the terms and conditions above.

SkyCity Hotels will contact you within 48 hours of completing the submission.
